Found out last night that I was being invited to pray for Vice President Pence at our gathering of faith leaders today.

After the initial shock, then panic over what to wear and stopping by Walgreens to get 4 pairs of nylons just in case 3 of them ran ... I worked on the words I felt were important to pray. I woke up a few times during the night wondering if I had dreamt the whole thing, but when I arrived at the church this morning and saw the Secret Service everywhere...I knew it was real!

It was an absolute honor for Jeff and I to meet and pray for Vice President Pence — he is the real deal and incredibly gracious.
