Speak His Word! Praying Prophetic Words into Every Area of Your Life
Most of us have been taught or at least have heard about the power behind the spoken word—the ability to change cultures, ethnic groups, and even whole nations.
It’s easy to see how the media has joined in with their information at the same time and in some cases produced their own agenda.
Then with the explosive expansion of social media, this took on a whole new meaning—now everyone could “voice” what was on their mind, in their own way, whether true or not. Thank God for free speech. But we must have the Voice of the Holy Spirit of Truth speaking to bring freedom and clarity. He does that through prophets, ministers, you, and me!
Voices are being heard today. The critical question is, “Whose voice will be the loudest?”
God has the perfect answer! His prophets’ voices are being heard loudly with prophetic words concerning the will of God! His Word lasts forever.
The sky and the earth (the universe, the world) will pass away, but My words will not pass away (Luke 21:33 AMPC).
Yes, of course, He speaks through other ministry gifts and people today. Our focus in this book is about how you are part of those prophetic voices being heard now.
This is where you come in! The gifts and anointings the Lord has placed upon you and in you give you a voice as you pray and decree for prophets’ words to be heard in this supernatural time!
God is looking for His “Gideon’s 300” to pray prophetic prayers that can birth His will and stop the enemy in his tracks! Gideon and his small band of men were able to tear down the altars of Baal and stop the Midianites (Judges 6–7)!
His family was worshiping demon gods and built altars to them. This gave their enemy an opening to steal their harvest. God was able to help Gideon see how he could defeat them even with a small band of left-handed men carrying torches in pitchers who knew how to follow instructions.
You should read the whole story. It’s awesome how the Lord used a remnant to accomplish His purposes with a handful of dedicated people! It doesn’t take many. God can save by many or by few (1 Samuel 14:6-7).
Let’s join as one with prayer power as Elijah did—fervent, righteous, heartfelt prayers that can make tremendous power available—and follow instructions like Gideon and his men did.
Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
Elijah was a human being with a nature such as we have [with feelings, affections, and a constitution like ours]; and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months.
And [then] he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops [as usual] (James 5:16-18 AMPC).
This is exciting and rewarding. It’s been said that God does nothing without someone praying and standing in the gap. Jesus was definitive proof of that! At times, He prayed all night. The next day miracles occurred. He said and did only what the Father showed Him.
So, Jesus answered them by saying, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the Son is able to do nothing of Himself (of His own accord); but He is able to do only what He sees the Father doing, for whatever the Father does is what the Son does in the same way [in His turn] (John 5:19 AMPC).
Where did He learn this? In prayer, of course!
Now here you are, hand-chosen by God to enter that secret place with Him. As you do, He’ll tell you secrets to pray. If this hasn’t happened to you before, you will be so amazed you won’t be able to contain the joy! If you have experienced this, then you know what I’m talking about.
But be expectant because it will increase in power and dimension. One of the most awesome assignments you’ll ever experience is specifically praying for, interceding, and covering prophets as they minister. We’ll share more about this type of praying further in this book. Prophets are God’s Voice in the world today.
Surely the Lord God will do nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7 AMPC).
This is nothing new! God has been operating this exact same way throughout the Bible. He has always prophetically shared upcoming events like the following:
Noah: warned of the coming flood
Joseph: warned of the seven years of blessing and seven years of famine
Jonah: warned of the destruction of Nineveh
Isaiah: the virgin birth of Jesus Christ
Luke in Acts: the outpouring of the Holy Spirit
Paul: faith in God’s Grace by the Blood of Jesus is the way of salvation
John in Revelation: end times and the new heaven
And there are many more!
What if God wants to work through you to do the same? There are certain things we must learn and know to be effective in helping with this major move of God. It’s a joy to be able to share with you some things I’ve learned throughout the years working with prophets, pastors, ministers, and others to help them fulfill their calling and destiny by (and through) learning how to pray for them.
It took me years to understand what I will share with you. It’s an honor to be able to help you along your way and to expedite your growth exponentially. It’s important that you understand you are needed now because of the times and seasons we’re in.
Here are a few things that supernatural, power-packed prayers can accomplish. They will:
Affect individuals’ destinies
Change the course of nations
Bring spiritual, emotional, and physical healing
Put the devil back in his place
Move mountains of adversity
Reveal hidden agendas of the evil one so they can be stopped
Provide bridges for gaps between individuals, ministries, churches, missions, and governments
James 5:16 explained how Elijah could pray to stop the rain and pray for it to pour. What happened? It did exactly what he prayed!
He was just a regular, normal guy who knew how to pray power prayers with diligence and heartfelt tenacity!
You can do the same thing.
You do this by being one of the hidden faces in that secret place—praying prophetic words into prophetic places and times!
