Supernatural Increase TODAY!
The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will BLESS us….He will BLESS them that fear The LORD, both small and great. The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children. Ye are BLESSED of The LORD which made heaven and earth. The heaven, even the heavens, are The LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men (Psalm 115:12-16).
Increasing the world’s way is both exhausting and frustrating.
It’s exhausting because, due to the curse that’s in the earth, it involves a lot of sorrowful toil (Genesis 3:17). And it’s frustrating because—again, due to the curse—the results you hope to receive from your sorrowful toil are often undermined by natural conditions beyond your control.
Increasing God’s way, however, is an entirely different matter. It’s both joyful and fulfilling. It does involve work,23 but there’s no sorrow with it. You can just put your hand to whatever job God gives you, operate according to His system, and He’ll increase you supernaturally.
Super means “above and beyond.” Natural means “of the course of this world.” So, supernatural increase is something above and beyond the natural course of this world. That’s why, once you tap into supernatural increase, you’re not subject to the times. It’s why you can be surrounded by the same negative conditions as others and yet experience different results. It’s why, no matter what’s going on around you, you can thrive and not just survive.
This kind of supernatural increase is what Psalm 115 is talking about. It says when you’re operating in THE BLESSING of The LORD, He “shall increase you more and more, you and your children” (verse 14). To increase more and more in Hebrew means “to continue to add, over and above.”
I’ve had experience with being continually added to, over and above, and it’s wonderful! Pastor Terri and I have enjoyed the benefits of it in our own personal lives, and we’ve seen it manifest year after year at Kenneth Copeland Ministries.
I wasn’t there in 1967 when the Copelands first started the ministry in their little rent house in Tulsa, with no money and no preaching invitations. But when I came on staff nine years later, they had already increased to an extent that, in the natural, could not be explained. Not only did they have a full preaching schedule, vehicles and thousands of dollars’ worth of equipment, they had 12 employees on staff and an office building the size of a large house that overlooked a lake in Arlington, Texas!
I thought that office building was great when I went to work there. But recently, the magnitude of the increase we’ve seen since then really hit me. As I was ministering to a group in the dining room of our current administrative building, which overlooks Eagle Mountain Lake, I realized the entire building we had at Lake Arlington would fit inside what is now the dining room in our present facility. Look what The LORD has done! I thought.
“Well,” some one might say, “certainly God would increase KCM supernaturally. It’s a ministry. Its whole purpose is to BLESS people.”
As a believer, so is yours!
You may not have thought of it in exactly these terms, but for us here at KCM true prosperity is being able to use the power of God to meet the needs of mankind: spirit, soul, body, financially and socially. It isn’t just about living in luxury (although God does give us richly all things to enjoy). Your purpose and motivation for accumulating and increasing in wealth is so that you can distribute it. You want to increase so you can be the BLESSING God has called you to be.
How do I know that’s true of you? Because it’s the heart of Jesus, and if you’re born again, He’s living inside you.
Forget what the religious critics of prosperity say! You’re not being selfish by spending time reading and meditating on scriptures about increasing financially. Reading and meditating on The WORD enlarges your capacity to receive from God, and the more you receive from Him the more you can distribute to others. What happens when you distribute to others? You increase even more and you’re able to be an even greater BLESSING!
Isn’t God’s supernatural increase plan great? It’s like He says in Isaiah 55:9: “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts” (NLT). Keep going after His higher thoughts and ways. Supernatural increase begins on the inside of you, so meditate on these scriptures about it today:
“Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall BLESS us” (Psalm 67:5-7).
“Yea, The LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase” (Psalm 85:12).
“For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased” (Proverbs 9:11).
“Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit” (Leviticus 26:4).
“For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you” (2 Corinthians 9:10, NLT).
