Exposing the Antichrist Agenda: How to Discern Deception in the Last Days
Excerpted from The Spirit of Elijah.
For 2,000 years, society has been in what the Bible calls the “last days.”
We are currently in the last of the last days and approaching the “end times.” This period will determine how we will enter the coming phase—the End Times, including the Millennial Reign of Jesus and eternity future.
Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? (2 Peter 3:11-12).
Our walk as a dedicated believer should reflect those who carry an expectation for the coming of the Lord. Each believer should count themselves as one who answers the statement in 2 Peter 3:11, “What manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness.” A true believer will respond with a life of dedication to Jesus Christ. It is, however, vital that we understand our behavior and walk of obedience unto the high calling God has given each of us—a hand on the wheel. I am referring to the timeline for when the Lord will return.
The Coming Great and Terrible Day of the Lord
Once again, volcanic pressure is building, and a radical shift in society has been unleashed, leading to malice and deception beyond all reason and logic. Global society is being conditioned to bow the knee to all things antichrist in nature as the Lord’s return draws near. In the end, when Jesus returns, it will be a great and terrible day that is not tolerable for any living person.
…for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; who can endure it? (Joel 2:11).
Along this journey toward what the Bible calls the great and terrible day of the Lord is the placement of agents of clarity. They are set apart—called out from among the culture to speak the uncompromising truth while carrying out a generational assignment. How these are responded to and treated will determine much of the outcome for that generation. Let us consider the two prophets in Revelation, the angels in Sodom, the prophets Jeremiah and Noah, and all the voices and prophets who stood up as a voice crying out in their generation. Also, consider the responses to these.
For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand? (Revelation 6:17).
When considering historical cycles or dispensations, it appears that often, the Lord has voices in place warning, preparing, and even guiding on the cusp or even while amid such events.
Last-Days Culture
Today, crimes against humanity are celebrated and polished away through verbiage marshaled for one purpose: pure brainwashing of our children. Why? To build an army of non-thinking, order-taking, Antichrist soldiers committed to a false ideology filled with self-harm, mutilation, perverse identity, and a complete abandonment of all that is good and virtuous.
It is this tsunami that appears from generation to generation. Growing with a veracious intensity that the passing of time will only outdo the last evil unless it is stopped or exposed. Nothing will stand in its way and certainly will not recover in its wake! Regardless of this impossibility, the imperative realization must awaken. A clarity, a fire of rebellion against the rejoicing of sickness, a figure standing firmly in the middle of evil’s freeway and declaring, “No more! Your evil reign of tyranny will come to an end! Your vile system will fall, for I stand fearlessly against you, not in my strength, but in the strength of the One who sent me. Of whom I represent and of whom I belong.” Yet, within this prophetic narrative comes the placement of influence and the idea an eruption is coming. Pressure is building toward it every day!
Reformers—The Antidote to A Culture Gone Mad
Reformers speak and act in such ways that they begin as a fly in the ointment, like an annoyance, an irritation to these high and mighty arrogant fools. Sometimes, the Lord raises up a minority to go against the violent rapids when He finds a free moral agent completely surrendered with discipline and tenacity, walking in practiced holiness, and living in marked obedience to the service of the Lord.
Whatever the institution cannot control, it must kill or persecute.
Every generation faces evil, which may seem new, but nothing is new under the sun. Any form of wickedness that emerges is a repackaged version of an ancient foe. And in each generation, the answer rises to meet evil and stop it. Reformers often emerge, carrying a non-conformist spirit, as an assigned entity for disrupting the wicked and reconciliation for the innocent. The cycles of time and seasons repeat the rise of both influences and will continue. Dark spiritual forces always give way, or at least are designed to serve the agenda of the Antichrist.
No, You Move!
A stupor of deception always seems to accompany them, yet only one thing comes to interrupt these demonic players. Like a stake offensively driven by these wicked agencies and ideologues, the spirit of Elijah stands. Alone or with a fellowship, this assigned generational spirit of truth will always tell the evil, wicked forces, “No, you move!”
Like a scene in a film or the hero in a story, the spirit of Elijah carries the heart of God, which states that God can save by many, by few, or even by one.
Wrecking Ball or Reconciler
Whether one becomes a wrecking ball or a reconciler is not a matter of chance but a result of the culture’s behavior and zeitgeist. The spirit of Elijah stands for change, and our collective responsibility is to usher in the kingdom of God.
John the Baptist preached repentance, speaking out shamelessly against the political filth of his time, yet his highest calling was to prepare the way for the Messiah.
The Spirit of the Lord spoke to me one day as I prayed about America’s future. Out of great concern, I asked the Lord, “Is America going down? Is it all over?” The response was sudden and direct from the Lord. “No,” He said, “America has one more round…the young lions are coming!” Reformers who are fearless and filled with cause.
Punish the Darkness
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, 7 to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishment on the peoples; 8 to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 to execute on them the written judgment—This is an honor for all His godly ones. Praise the LORD! (Psalm 149:6-9).
There is a level of warfare that releases punishment on darkness. Psalm 149 says, “…bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron.” Spiritual violence weaponized and marshaled to punish disobedience is different from pushing back the darkness.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, 6 and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete (2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NASB1995).
Diamond Seeds Sown Under Intense Pressure Producing the Finest Value
You must know that the Lord sees all your days and sacrifices, much like Cornelius, whose alms and offerings came before the Lord. Everyone who chooses to honor God, no matter the time or season, will be honored by the Great God of heaven.
Diamond seeds are the actions of those who have stood with character, sown with pain and tears, regardless of what the outcome looked like to them. Psalm 126:5 defines this understanding: “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.” That sowing of tears or when you did what was right before the Lord repeatedly until it produced a form of diamonds—precious gems, or symbolically an outcome with tremendous value.
Those who stand in obedience and faithfulness will rise to their highest potential. God is saving the best for last; I declare that it is you. Regardless of what you have done, where you have failed, or anything else that would tell you you’re disqualified, you can start immediately and step into all God has for you. God is so good that He can make plans B, C, and D so good that they outdo plan A!
You are fully equipped to join this last day’s narrative, to produce diamond seeds, and to rise against darkness.
