Lance Wallnau: ‘This is a Treasure Map to Supernatural Favor’
You are reading a treasure map to a life of supernatural Favor. Billy and Becky Epperhart’s latest book, Extravagant Favor, is a rare find.
It brings forth new insights on a subject seldom handled in the manner it is handled here. Favor is indeed a mysterious matter. It is a word in scripture that shows up in the life of Joseph, David, Esther, Daniel, Mary, and Jesus. Favor operates according to specific laws, releasing a cosmic power of divine attraction once set in motion. Like wealth, you cannot manufacture it, but you can live in a way that attracts it! Billy and Becky have lived this life of Favor and explain how you can attract and experience the same phenomena. One moment of divine Favor is more valuable than a lifetime of labor. It makes you a magnet to the people and resources you need to accomplish God’s assignment. You see many aspects of the laws of Favor in the life of Philip, the evangelist in the book of Acts.
Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert. So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace, the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.” So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” (Acts 8:26-30 NKJV).
Philip led that treasurer to the Lord, but there is a unique sequence in what took place: first, he heard God give him a direction, and he obeyed. Philip was not told about the treasurer; he was told about the direction. Second, a divine appointment occurred when he got to the place God sent him. It was then that the Spirit further instructed him to join the chariot. Since the chariot was in motion, Philip had to run to catch up on his divine appointment. It always struck me that God didn’t make it easy for Phillip—he still had to hustle to the chariot! When God wanted Phillip to minister to that high-ranking treasurer, He did not plop him into the man’s chariot. Instead, Philip was placed in proximity and urged to run.
In a way, that sequence applies to you. God has given you this message. Maybe this is a divine appointment for you. Perhaps an angel set this up. You now have keys to the force of Favor in proximity to you. Don’t miss your Extravagant Favor chariot! I encourage you to run with these ideas. I’ve seen great wealth and influence multiply in the Epperhart’s lives. The reason? You can find the secret in their book. They paid the price to build the consistency and character required to handle the divine force of Favor. These ideas work!
Whether you’re a business owner, a student, a parent, or anyone seeking to walk in God’s Favor, this book offers practical wisdom and inspiration. You can hold a treasure map in your hand. Enjoy the journey.
