Satan’s Alien Deception: How UFOs Fit Into the Devil’s End-Time Scheme

Leading scientists say aliens will visit our planet in the near future.

Nick Pope, a former executive officer with the British Ministry of Defense says, “I am convinced there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe.” Even though man has been listening for E.T. since 1960, which is over 50+ years, and today’s technology is advanced 100 trillion times since those early days of listening, still there has been no life discovered anywhere in the universe outside of Planet Earth. Nevertheless, the experts say, “It’s just a matter of time before we are visited by extraterrestrials.”

This opinion comes not from science fiction, but science. Experts from Nassau to the Pentagon say aliens will come, and they may not come in peace. Renowned astrophysicist, Stephen Hawking states, “Advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads looking to conquer and colonize whatever planets they can reach.”

These experts claim when aliens show up, the Earth may be in big trouble. If they succeed in landing, they surmise the aliens will have overwhelming technology and the power to help themselves to whatever they need and want. Top astrophysicists and military defense consultants reveal that leading countries of the world have plans to deal with an alien invasion. From the Pentagon to the United Nations, aliens are taken seriously. If there is an attack, there is going to be chaos “with every man for himself,” as we have seen with other widespread disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and the Japanese tsunami. It will take time to respond.

Satan’s Counterfeit Plan of Redemption

The History Channel’s Ancient Aliens series, as well as many other shows and books, promote the whole concept of anunnaki (giant mythological gods) and their return in the near future. This would harmonize with the Bible’s predictions of the coming great deception.

Are We Alone

Paul Davies, the director of Beyond Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science at Arizona State University and author of The Eerie Silence: Renewing Our Search for Alien Intelligence commented, “There could be as many as 40 billion habitable planets in our galaxy,” a number which hardly makes a dent in 1 trillion times trillion planets in our galaxy. Davies went on to say, “The universe is teeming with life.” The astronomer, Godfrey Marcy, of the University of California at Berkeley responded, “It represents one great leap towards the probability of life, including intelligent life in the universe.”

Jesus warns us in Matthew 24:24, 25, in the last days,

“... false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.”

Could Jesus be referring to the times when people would see strange, supernatural phenomena and manifestations in the sky, not to mention people having strange encounters in the middle of the night in their bedrooms?

Many people think the subject of aliens is a fringe issue, and should be left to those in the fringes of society, such as cults. However, this subject has become a real world issue. Governments are spending billions of dollars on the search for extraterrestrial life.

U.S. Government on Alien Life

Recently, the U.S. government had a hearing on the odds of alien life. Massachusetts Institute of Technology planetary science and physics Professor Sara Seager told the House Science Committee, “The chance that there’s a planet like Earth out there with life on it is very high.”

Answering a question from Rep. Ralph Hall, R-Texas, who asked, “Do you think there’s life out there, and are they studying us?”

Seager answered, “The question is: Is there life near here, in our neighborhood of stars? We think the chances are good.”

Others who testified were NASA astrobiologist, Mary Voytek, and science historian and astrobiologist, Steven J. Dick, of the Library of Congress. Dick said, “I think the guiding principle holds that what’s happened here has happened elsewhere in our huge universe,” the Washington Post reported. The 90-minute hearing, called by committee Chairman, Lamar Smith, R-Texas, brought praise and respect from congressmen.

The Media Blitz

The most popular movies and TV shows of all time are science fiction. Star Trek: The Next Generation is the number one syndicated program in the history of television. Science fiction is the most entertaining genre of all time. Unfortunately, Christians do not realize the power of the media in influencing our ideas and our thoughts, and sci-fi is the key element in influencing the public’s ideas about extraterrestrial life.

The belief in the reality of UFOs is spreading rapidly at all levels of society throughout the world. There are books and periodicals, which appear at an ever-increasing rate. There are documentaries and major films being made now by young people of the UFO generation, who were born just after World War II and grew up with flying saucer stories. Both Christian and secular individuals believe in extraterrestrials, but the difference today is terminology. Christians may use the word spiritual, supernatural or preternatural, whereas the secular individual uses terms such as paranormal and paraphysical to describe UFO phenomena.

Physics and Space Travel Don’t Mix

The secular and humanistic media and university professors who speak and teach on the subject of aliens tell us they come from other galaxies and could be visiting the Earth in a real physical spacecraft. In the 1950s and the 1960s, the idea of aliens evolving on other planets became popular. But as we understood more about the enormous size of the universe, it became obvious that aliens could not travel thousands or even millions of light years across the universe according to the law of physics. It would require multiple generations to make the trip. This simply means that if you traveled at the speed of light, it would still take 100,000 years to cross just one galaxy, not to mention traveling from galaxy to galaxy.

The top speed of a space shuttle is only 17,900 mph, and the shuttle is the most powerful engine man has ever built. It is beyond the realm of reasonable thought for these alien spacecraft to be coming from other galaxies according to the universe’s laws of physics. Other scientific ideas include notions such as a “wormhole” which is similar to a worm boring through an apple. Supposedly, it is thought there may be holes bored through the universe connecting galaxies.

The problem with space travel is that it would take the energy of 98 Hiroshima atomic bombs to propel a tiny 500-gram ball to 50 percent of the speed of light. At this speed, it would take 4 million years to reach the nearest galaxy, Andromeda, from our own Milky Way. Then there is the problem with objects in space. There are hundreds of thousands of dust particles for every cubic kilometer of space. At one-tenth the speed of light, the impact would be equivalent to 10 tons of TNT. A pea-sized object would produce kinetic energy equivalent to 2.2 atomic bombs. One can look at the panels of the Hubble spacecraft and see the impact from all the tiny space dust that hit the craft while it was out in space.

Another problem with traveling in space is changing directions. One g is equivalent to the Earth’s gravity. Nine g’s could possibly kill an Air Force pilot. Changing directions at the speed of light would exert millions of g’s upon the occupants, which translates into “lights out” permanently for all passengers. Still another problem is cosmic radiation. Prolonged exposure is fatal, and traveling at the speed of light would massively increase exposure.

The number one objection to flying around the universe at the speed of light is being able to reach the speed of light, which is impossible. You couldn’t get enough energy to propel you to the speed of light. Physics teaches that as speed increases, mass increases, which means it is impossible within the natural laws of physics. It is simply fantasy—science fiction.

Did God Create Aliens?

The late Carl Sagan, one of the most famous, humanistic scientists of the modern era, hypothesized in the opening statement to his classic book, The Cosmos, “The Cosmos is all that is or ever was or ever will be.” The evolutionist, Alan Guth, made a similar statement in the Discovery Magazine in April, 2002, when he said, “The universe burst into something from absolutely nothing—zero, nada. And as it got bigger, it became filled with even more stuff that came from absolutely nowhere.” Can you imagine a more stupid hypothesis? But if you ask these scientists why they believe this, they will answer, “Because there is no other alternative.”

Here, we learn from two respected, educated men the humanistic worldview of the secular part of society. What is the alternative? It is the most profound passage of Scripture—Genesis 1:1. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth.” Right from the beginning, God was there. If we conclude, as previously discussed, that aliens are unable to visit Planet Earth from a natural, physical standpoint, then an alternative explanation is that they are not physical, but rather something of another dimension.

The interdimensional hypothesis states that aliens could be visiting the Earth from other dimensions. This overcomes the travel distance problem. This theory has religious appeal, particularly to the New Age movement. If aliens do not have bodies like humans, they do not need to travel like humans. There are even Christians who have embraced this view because they think it fits with Scripture—the universe is made up of multiple dimensions. After all, the Bible does speak of “heavens” in the first verse: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth” (Genesis 1:1, NIV).

So what is there to do with the reports of people claiming to experience strange occurrences involving supernatural phenomena? Indeed, what does the public hear from governments about such things? How can they explain what they do not understand? They simply say something like, “There is no threat to national security.”

Today, more and more of the supernatural acts of the Bible are being explained away by humanism and naturalism. In other words, there is no need for a supernatural God. Humanism provides an alternative to the meaning and purpose of life. It is believed aliens will be able to provide us with solutions for the problems of the world because of their advanced technology. After all, the public has been led to believe that life may have arisen on Planet Earth as a result of aliens visiting our world a few billion years ago.

Keep in mind, we have indeed had extraterrestrial visitors from another dimension come to Planet Earth. These are angelic beings, not to mention the Creator of the universe, our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus told us in His Word,

“My kingdom is not of this world ... but my kingdom is from another place” (John 18:36).

Miracles throughout the Bible were performed by God’s angels— sometimes seen, but mostly unseen.

Another amazing supernatural event occurred in Scripture, known as the transfiguration, when Jesus appeared in His heavenly glory and a voice spoke from above and said, “This is my son in whom I am well pleased.” Later, the disciples said to the people,

“We were eyewitnesses to these events and are not sharing cleverly invented stories” (2 Peter 1:16).

Coming Soon: The Great Deception

The stories of many individuals who claim to have had supernatural experiences are strikingly similar to those who are possessed with demons, as described in the Bible. The devil and his demons can, according to the Bible, manifest themselves in almost any form and can physically imitate anything from beautiful angels to monsters with glowing eyes. In other words, what we are speaking about is the age-old deception, as we read in Genesis, chapter 3, where Satan entered a snake and spoke to Eve.

In 1 Timothy 4:1, we read,

“The Spirit clearly says that in the latter times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”

Be careful of being deceived by the “wisdom” of this world. Suppose you heard someone say that a little fairy woke them up at night and told them about their future. No doubt, we would write such a person off as a bit weird and avoid them the next time we saw them.

However, people now believe stories about having visions of angels who tell them they are a very special individual and they have been chosen for some great purpose. Obviously, such an experience would be a life-changing experience. This is why it is so easy to be deceived today, particularly for the individual who does not know who Jesus is, is not a part of a believing congregation or has not ever read the Bible. This mystical experience would be a defining moment that could easily cause one to be deceived.

The Bible reveals there is absolutely no truth in evil aliens or extraterrestrial-type angels with a message in opposition to the Word of God:

“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned” (Galatians 1:8).

A good example of such an encounter is the story of Joseph Smith, (founder of the Mormon cult) who had an encounter with an “angel” who called himself Maroni. This angel had a different gospel, and his job was to “sort out the apostate church.” Supposedly, Mohammed was given some extra-biblical revelation from an angel who claimed to be Gabriel, which became the Koran. These are examples of what Jesus meant when He said, “For false christs and false prophets will appear … to deceive even the elect.” In the days before the return of Christ, we can expect many visitors who will also claim to be from other dimensions, galaxies and places unknown, who have words of wisdom, knowledge and power and who will be able to perform amazing signs and wonders. The Bible declares they are from the liar who has no truth in him—Satan and his angels.

Jesus warned about,

“Men’s hearts failing them for fear and the expectation of those things which are coming upon the Earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken” (Luke 21:26).

For those who are dedicated followers of the God of the Bible, demons can do no harm to humans unless they can interact with them. Sin is the starting point, and from there the door is open for a demon to entrap and take control of its captive.

The way to stop an encounter with a fallen angel or demon is to simply call on the Name of Jesus. What is it that makes the Word and Name of Jesus so abhorrent to aliens? It is the power of the resurrected Christ, who has the ultimate power and authority over Heaven and Earth.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ

Many Christians have difficulty in reading the Book of Revelation. They say that the language is beyond comprehension. And because so many theologians have differing interpretations, the Church has become divided on the subject. But Revelation reveals the greatness of Almighty God, and shows us that His purposes for mankind are good and just. God’s wonderful plan is for His people to dwell with Him in paradise that never ends.

Once the Church understands today’s ensuing battle is “as it was in the days of Noah ...” then believers will be able to fight intelligently against what is happening in the heavens and on Earth. The return of the Nephilim in our modern end-times world will be similar in scope to what happened after the Flood. Nephilim will appear again at the end of time, as stated in the Book of Revelation.

Revelation records the release of four angels who were bound. (Revelation 9:13-16). These four angels are released at some point in the last days wreaking havoc on mankind. But a puzzling portion of this passage describes 200 million horsemen killing one-third of the world’s population. The idea of 200 million horsemen presents a problem today because there are only about 70 million horses presently in the world. Would horses be any kind of a real threat anyway in today’s world of high-tech warfare? Theologians have suggested that 200 million warring individuals are going to be Russian, Chinese or Muslim. Revelation, chapter 9, presents another idea—locust-like creatures prepared for battle. The creation of genetic Nephilim, added to the equation, changes everything.

Christ’s Conclusion on End-Times

As Jesus concluded his briefing on the end-times, He pointed out: “For there will be persecution such as the world has never before seen in all its history and will never see again. In fact, unless those days are shortened, all mankind will perish. But they will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen people” (Matthew 24:21, 22, LB).

Satan’s ultimate purpose is to destroy the entire human race. But because of God’s redeemed people, Jesus Christ will rescue His own out of the Earth to be with Him forever. After that God will once again have to destroy the entire world in judgment because of its unrestrained wickedness. It will be everlasting disaster and calamity to those who live for themselves and the pleasures of evil during their lifetime on Earth.

“For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man” (Matthew 24:36 40, NIV).
