God Delivered me From an Invisible Prison
For many long years, I was held captive in a prison of shame without even realizing it. I want to share with you how God delivered me from the invisible prison that I suffered in for so much of my life. I am sharing my story with you for two reasons: because I want to give glory to God, and because I believe it will help you realize that, through Jesus’ powerful work on the Cross, you can also be delivered from shame.
Eyewitness Accounts That Jesus Rose From the Dead
On the same day Jesus was raised from the dead, He not only appeared to Mary Magdalene outside the garden tomb (John 20:14-17), but to two disciples as they walked from Jerusalem to the city of Emmaus (Luke 24:13-31). When the three men sat down to eat together, Jesus blessed the food. After hearing the way He blessed the food, the two disciples instantly recognized it was the Lord — just as He suddenly “…vanished out of their sight” (v. 31).
End Times and the Will of God
Our highest desire and priority as Christians should be the fulfilling of the great commission. Our love for winning others is also God’s first love. Jesus did not come to first heal the land, although He will one day at His second coming. But He did come to seek and save those who were lost (Luke 19:10). God’s so love gave His only begotten Son for the giving of everlasting life to those who believe in Him. Then healing of the land, individual nations, may or may not take place. God’s plan again: first believers returning to God through repentance, second the spreading of the gospel, then a change in the nation.

The Millennial Reign of the Lord Jesus Christ
During the Millennium, the atmosphere of the earth will be perfect. Satan and the demons will be removed and it will begin with believers only. Everything on earth will be perfect because there will be no opposition. The weather will be perfect, business will be perfect, longevity will be restored, children will never be harmed, and the earth will be in peace.
His Death Was a Triumph
He not only was able to choose when He would dismiss His life but also had the power to take it again and come out of death to take us with Him into the new covenant. And so, on the third day, He rose from the dead. That made His death not a tragedy but a triumph.
