The Scandalous Truth About Jesus and His Wealth
It could be considered a bit scandalous. In all honesty, it offended me, too, when I first heard it. I thought, That can’t be right. But everything I’m about to say is based on Scripture. So, hold on. We’re about to do some myth busting. Jesus Christ was rich. If that strikes you as an odd thought, you aren’t alone. I’ve been there. I learned things from religious circles, from the tradition of men, which made the Word of God ineffective in my life. It blinded me to the truth of Scripture.
The Power of Our Words
You release the ability of Satan when you start saying what he said. Fear activates the devil. Faith brings God on the scene.
Before you ever make a confession of what comes into your head, ask yourself, “Who said that? What is its source?”
If it doesn’t agree with the WORD, you know who said that. The devil said it. Don’t you quote it. If you do, that’s his deception.

One day as I was confessing “the devil flees from me because I resist him in Jesus’ name,” I suddenly realized that the anointing of God was rising up in me. My spirit had received it and now it was being manifest in me. In an instant of time I knew the devil was fleeing from me and my words took on authority. God’s Words are filled with faith and that is how faith comes.
The Answer to Every Problem
You may be facing insurmountable problems today. You may feel fearful, anxious, shaken or depressed over the way our world is going. But instead of being overwhelmed, ask yourself one important question: What does the Bible say? Because it never changes, and it has the answer to every problem mankind will ever face. We have an unshakeable hope! Let’s look into God’s Word.
Practicing Self Control
There was a time in my life when I didn’t have a very good grasp on self-control when it came to food. I was a sugar addict, and there were days I would eat an entire pound of chocolate in one day! My lack of self-control would come back to haunt me the next day when I would wake up feeling groggy and sick from all the sugar that I had consumed. When you’re not feeling well, it’s easy to take it out on your family or your spouse, which then causes them to feel unvalued. Lack of self-control can cause a vicious cycle in our lives and affect those around us.
His Promises are Yes and Amen!
No matter what you may be going through, know that there are people who care about you. Jesus cares about you and what you are going through. He knew my desire to be a mom. He knows yours, too. He loves you and is always right there with you! I promise, He can get you through anything. So many things I’ve gone through, I thought I’d never make it. But I look back on my life now and see Jesus every step of the way. Don’t give up….remember the “Footprints” poem: “It was then that I was carrying you.”
God Told me How to Have a Pain Free Delivery
God took me step by step. I asked Him about everything. I said, “God, I don’t understand how this is going to happen. I’ve already had one baby, and I know all the things that happened and that it was hard work, but I don’t understand how my body will contract and stretch without hurting.”

Superhuman is an adjective that is defined as “having or showing exceptional ability or powers.” What may come as a shock to many people, including Christians, is that God wants us to live a superhuman life. Lord, I trust You to prepare my children now for Your life plan for them. Thank You that they will have the wisdom to discern the right timing for what You would have them do in each season of their life. They will choose to love, obey, and cleave unto You with their whole body, soul, and spirit.

Regardless of the battle you are facing today, let me quantify by declaring that a battle is usually life or death and while it may only be life or death for you alone matters not, the battle is the Lord’s.

Reaping a Harvest of Mercy Through Forgiveness
The Bible also says that what we sow, we will also reap (Galatians 6:7). Thus, when we sow unforgiveness toward someone, we are also sowing seeds of judgment, criticism, and rejection — and that is exactly the kind of harvest we will reap back into our lives! On the other hand, when we freely forgive, we will reap a harvest of forgiveness, grace, love, and acceptance for ourselves and others. In other words, the mercy we give is the mercy we will receive.
Accepting Your Body
I believe that many of us can afford to learn to fall in love with our bodies again. The truth is, maybe your body isn’t at your goal weight yet or maybe your stomach hangs over your jeans more than you would like, but it is still your body and it fights every day to help keep you alive and allow you to experience the fullness of life. Let’s stop the battle against our bodies and be brave enough to become friends and walk in the journey hand in hand with ourselves.
